Quick version: Go to Recipients, find the Recipient, open their Actions menu, click Delete, check the confirmation box, and click Delete recipient. Recipients with forms can’t be deleted.
Recipients are the people and businesses you send forms to, including employees. In Helper, the employers, payers, and lenders you file for are called Issuers.
Before you start: Deleting a Recipient is permanent and removes them from all Issuers.
Only want to remove them from one Issuer? Unlink them instead.
Want to keep their records? Mark them inactive.
See Common questions below for both.

Common questions
Why can’t I delete a Recipient?
They have forms. Delete their unsubmitted forms first. If they have filed forms, they can’t be deleted. To stop using them, choose Mark Inactive in their Actions menu.
Can I undo a delete?
No. Deleting is permanent. Add the Recipient again if you need them later.
How do I remove a Recipient from just one Issuer?
Click the Recipient’s name, scroll to Linked Issuers, and click Unlink next to that Issuer. Unlinking deletes their unsubmitted forms for that Issuer. See How to Link or Unlink a Recipient and an Issuer.
Need to fix a Recipient’s details instead? See How to Edit a Recipient or Employee.
