Why don’t you eFile to my state?

We eFile directly to 9 states and through the IRS' CF/SF program for others.

As a general rule, you’ll need to verify your state’s filing requirements by checking your state’s Department of Revenue website.

No Withholding States

Some states do not require state tax withholding: Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, Wyoming

Other states have various filing requirements that Adams Tax Forms Helper currently doesn't support, but we're always working to expand our support.

Adams Tax Forms Direct-to-State Filing

This year, Adams Tax Forms Helper submits direct-to-state filing with the following states:

1099-MISC: CO, GA, MA, MD, NJ, OK, OR, WI

1099-NEC: CO, MA, NJ, OK, OR, WI

W-2: CO, GA, IL, MA, MD, NJ, OK, OR, WI

Adams also participates in the IRS' Combined Federal / State Filing service (CF/SF)

This IRS service transmits state withholding information to participating states and is only available with some 1099 forms. Review the requirements below to see if your forms qualify. Always check with the state to confirm its participation in the program for the tax year. Additional forms or reporting may be needed by the state.

Participating CF/SF States: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Wisconsin
