After eFiling a correction you might want to go back and print a recipient copy or a copy of the 1096 for your records. Here's how you can do that.

From your dashboard, go to “Filings.”

Next, use the 1099 for which you want to print a 1096 Recipient copy. Here, we’ll be working with our corrected 1099-MISC.

Next, click on the “Actions” menu to the right of your form. Again, we’re working with our corrected 1099-MISC. Select “Print Summary” from the dropdown menu.

Next, choose to print on a pre-printed IRS form or blank sheet. In this case, we’re choosing to “Print onto a Blank Sheet of Paper.”

Click “Print Forms.”

Next, click the printer icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

Next, click “Print.”

Your form will go to the printer. Good on you!
