Do you need to import tax Payer or Recipient data from the old Adams Tax Forms Helper to our new site? We’ve got you covered. Remember to use the email address associated with your previous Adams Tax Forms Helper account. That way, you’ll be able to import your data from last year’s Tax Forms Helper records.

Here’s a step-by-step guide about how to import your previous year’s data.

  1. First, click “Payers” to get started.

  2. Next, click “Import” and a dropdown menu will appear.

  3. Click “Copy From Prior Year.”

  4. You’ll see “Import Prior Year Payers.” Select the Payer(s) you want to import.

  5. Click “Import Selected,” and you’ll see all of your Payer data from our previous site, from a list of Payers to TINs to what files are in progress and what files are processing.

  6. Once you see your Payer data show up, you’ll move to importing last year’s recipient/forms. Here’s how to do that.

  7. Click on “Filings.”

  8. Click on “Import” and then click “Prior Year.”

  9. Select the form(s) and corresponding Recipient name(s) you want to import:

  10. Click “Import Selected.”

After this step, you’ll be taken back to the Filings page. While you’ll need to update some of your information (tax year, filing information, etc.), your previous year’s data will be now available on the new site. Congrats! You’ve uploaded your data from the old Adams Tax Forms Helper.
