We’ve got a powerful import tool in your tax toolbox. From the new Adams® Tax Forms Helper®, users can connect to a QuickBooks® Online account to upload 1099 Filings.

From your dashboard, go to “Filings.” There, select a Payer from the dropdown menu.

After you’ve selected your Payer, click on the Import dropdown menu and select “Quickbooks Online.”

Click “Import Recipients.”

Check the box or boxes of the recipients you want to import, then click “Import Selected.”

You’ll see the “Recipients Saved” message. Click “Close” and continue.

Click “Refresh Filing List.”

Next, from the dropdown menu, select the 1099-NEC or 1099-MISC you want to import.

Select your 1099s by checking the box or boxes of the 1099s you want to import.

Next, click “Import Selected.”

You’ll get a “Filings Successfully Saved” message. Click “Close.”

Your imported filings will appear under Filings.

Good on you! You’ve imported from Quickbooks Online for Filings!
